Fresh Air
1. What caused man to become a living soul? Genesis 2:7
2. What gave life to man when he was created? Job 33:4

4. What happens to a person when they die? Psalm 104:29
5. Where does the breath go when man dies? Ecclesiastes 12:7
God made man a living machine but it had to be jump-started. God breathed in his nostrils, sending a spark of life into the machine and making Adam a living creature. He also began the lungs working, breathing in oxygen, so necessary to the maintenance of life.
6. What happens to the body after death? Ecclesiastes 3:20

God did not form the animals with His hands and breathe into their nostrils the breath of life as He did with man. When man dies, his breath, or spirit goes upward, back to the God who gave it, while the body goes back to the dust from which it was made. The breath or spirit of the animals goes down with them into the grave.
13. In Ezekiel’s vision of the dry bones, the bones came together, then were joined together by the muscles, tendons, and ligaments, which were finally covered with skin. They were whole but still dead. What made them live? Ezekiel 37:10
The air we breathe is essential to life. If we stop breathing, our heart will cease to beat within a few minutes. Brain cells begin to die in large numbers after about four minutes without oxygen. It is also important that we breathe in full, deep inspirations into our lungs. As much as possible, we should breathe air that is pure and clean. There are many kinds of gases in the atmosphere surrounding us. Some of the gases found in polluted air are poisonous to the body. Polluted air may also contain fine particles of heavy metals such as lead that are harmful to the body.

A. Mark 16:12
B. Isaiah 28:24-26
C. Proverbs 28:19
It has only been in modern times that people in the developed Western nations have needed to make an effort to get exercise. We have become sedentary, often sitting for long periods while working. We ride everywhere we go rather than walk. Modern conveniences have removed the need to do much work by hand, thereby eliminating the exercise that it gave our bodies. Now we must resort to gyms and exercise machines that have been designed to do for our bodies what the modern inventions have taken away.
